Health is not only the absence of disease; it is the balance of biology, mental clarity and overall quality of life. I am Dr. Fırat Tutal, a general surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in obesity surgery, endocrine surgery and metabolic health.

My clinical practice is based on an approach that combines the scientific foundations of modern medicine with the healing potential of the individual.

Surgical Experience and Training

Throughout my career, I have focused on advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques, sleeve gastrectomy, biliary tract surgery, and the surgical treatment of thyroid and parathyroid disorders. The endocrine system is the core of metabolism, so understanding the link between thyroid, parathyroid and obesity has allowed me to reach the root of many conditions.

Surgery is not only a physical intervention; at times, it becomes a healing process that helps individuals regain their confidence. My goal with each patient is to restore the body while supporting mental resilience and renewed life energy.

Functional Medicine and Scientific Approach

I use functional medicine principles to understand the biochemical causes behind weight management, hormonal balance and chronic conditions. By evaluating mechanisms such as gut health, insulin resistance, inflammation and cellular stress, I create tailored plans for each patient. My treatment approach is built on the healing power of surgery, the precision of medical technology and the guidance of holistic medicine.

What I Learned from My Own Experience

As someone who once struggled with excess weight, I understand that metabolic health is not only about calories but also about mental consistency. This personal journey has given me a deep perspective in both surgical and medical decision-making processes:
